Hello wonderous creator, I am an artist and arts educator who specializes in teaching drawing and visual storytelling.  I have A BA in literature, a BFA in Drawing and an MFA in Film Production. Since 2012 I have been teaching all ages from 7-107 in a variety of public, community and private settings such as the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia the Art gallery of Peterborough, and Concordia University. I currently teach at Explorations Learning in Montreal West.

My passion is working with a student’s unique way of learning and providing them the fundamental tools to express their ideas. Classes of 1 or 2 students move through the building blocks of drawing into abstract expression and creative theory.

 I specialize in:

  • Developing a strong understanding of the fundamentals of drawing

  • Helping students unlock their unique creative expression

  • working with all ages and skill levels

  • portfolio development and preparation for entry into University and College arts programs

  • sharing the true joy of drawing and learning

Drawing classes include:

Drawing in perspective, creating rich tonal range, rendering textures, understanding human and animal anatomy, Figure drawing, landscape drawing, creating compelling compositions, developing the students unique artistic expression

working with a variety of materials ( all materials included in lesson fees):

Graphite, charcoal, coloured pencils ink and watercolour

one hour : 60.00$ two hours: 100.00$

Two students:

one hour: 90.00$ Two hours: 160.00$

**Lessons are available in your home or residence and include 15.00$ travel fee**
